Set in a coastal village in Andhra Pradesh, Jaat follows Ranatunga (Randeep Hooda), a former laborer turned ruthless crime lord. After discovering gold in Sri Lanka post the defeat of the Jaffna Tiger Force, Ranatunga establishes a reign of terror over the villagers. Local law enforcement is either intimidated or complicit, leaving the population defenseless.
